Description: This resource reframes the conversation about students’ behavior and expectations to focus on the following 5 values: Value Indigenous and Local Knowledge, Seek Unity, Become Leaders Not Followers, Learn Everywhere, Learn from Everyone. For each value, examples are provided of what this looks like for educators as well as what this looks like for students, and suggestions are provided for how these values can be introduced and reiterated throughout the school session. Importantly, both students and teachers are agreeing to these shared values, and both students and teachers can check in on how well they are following those values throughout the school session.
